The D.EL.Ed. degrees are related to secondary and primary teachers training program. The contention is that teachers are born, not made, can be true in a rare cases. It is also contended that training, by itself, is sure to make a good teacher. But it is generally observed that a teacher with training become more mature and confident to perform his task more efficiently. Proper training and education enables the teacher to have knowledge of how children grow, develop and learn how they can be taught best and how their innate capacities can be brought out and developed. For D.El.Ed.-The candidate needs to be a 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 50% marks.

For D.El.Ed.-Admissions will be made strictly according to the rules and procedures laid down by the State government and on first come first serve basis.

For D.EL.Ed.-Two academic years.
